    Description

Please email with any questions. 8 1/2" by 10 1/2" bill of lading printed on pale blue paper with a small vignette of ships. Dated September 19, 1860, The schooner "C SHAW" was carrying two kegs of hardware from James C Hand & Co out of the port of New York to Savannah, Georgia then carried overland by train to the hardware store of Carhart & Curd in Macon, Georgia. This original piece came from a collection of business ephemera from Carhart & Curd. There are some light fold lines and some faint soiling and crinkles along the edges.
