    Description

    A scarce antique glass child's schooldesk inkwell with original black iron mounting collar and hinged iron cover lid....only embossing is a letter T on the lid.....this was designed with a pair of screw holes in the collar that allowed the inkwell to be attached permanently to a child's wood school desk
    .  The clear glass inkwell can just be lifted out....it measures 1"tall x 7/8"across the base (1 3/8"across the top square ring collar)....sparkling mint condition with no chips or damage. The black iron collar with 2 mounting holes measures 2 5/8"long x 1 3/4"wide....Hinged cover still slides open just fine...This is a hard to find inkwell with original collar..
