VINTAGE IDEAL TOY COMPANY DOLL: MORTIMER SNERD 12 INCH DOLL (ALL ORIGINAL - VERY GOOD CLEAN CONDITION)
This auction is for a very nice and extremely rare 1940s antique TV character doll.
Released by the Ideal Toy Company as part of the Edgar Bergen ventriloquist character Mortimer Snerd.  The doll stands just over 12 inches tall and is in very good condition and comes with all original clothing.  Doll and clothing are very clean with minor wear.  Doll has plastic head, torso, hands and feet with bendable wiring for the limbs.  The doll still holds together well and can stand on it's own and will hold many poses - see pictures.  The plastic head has minor hair line cracks on the face and small chipping on the top of the head.  Slight cracks on the plastic wrists.  Overall this doll is in very good
condition
as it has been on display for many years in a controlled environment
.  Overall a great find in very well kept condition considering the age of the doll.
