Accucraft Ruby Live Steam locomotive PROJECT in 1:20.3 scale.
This is a Project/ Kit Bash!  This is not a new locomotive nor is it completed and is only for those of you that understand how these locos operate. It is/was a project.
I purchased this item new when they were first released about 20 years ago. I took it apart and converted it to an outside frame 32mm gauge. It was modified to work with R/C at one point.  I then converted back to 45mm gauge. Lots of axel work. Its a fun loco and ran when I put it away about 5 years ago. I have all the finger burns to prove it. The boiler, gas container, oiler and all lines are good. It ran like a top. The valve gear worked great as well. It was always properly lubricated and only used distilled water. Safety valve was functioning as well. Comes w random parts, some stock, some not.
This is for sale AS IS and I only recommend this to a talented model builder, lots of things to work out and smooth up to have a reliable loco. It WILL need additional work. I will NOT accept returns.  I was going to find a second Ruby and build an Articulated Unit like a 2-4-4-2 or simular. I have no room on the boat for such things and it has to go. These parts are expensive when sold individually so I believe its a good addition to your live steam roster in one way or another.
