    This is an original antique glass inkwell with brown bakelite top that was for the hole in a child's wood school desk. It is emb with number 60 on bottom of the glass inkwell....bakelite top is emb

    ..it screws down tight and has its original little swinging cover on a hinge.....1 3/4"total height includes the lid x 1 3/8"across base...1 3/4"across shoulder ring.....shoulder ring allows the inkwell to nest in desk hole without falling through....Glass inkwell is perfect with no chips or damage. Shiny clean. The brown bakelite top has is also perfect with no chips or damage. A nice inkwell that some little child used 100 years ago
