For sale is early extremely rare steam-powered or rather Spirit (
alcohol
) powered 1-gauge locomotive. Circa 1915, made by Josef Falk as noted in the one side of the cab. Very rare version as Josef Falk locomotives are very scarce and there are none available in the United States. As seen extremely well preserved, brass body, About 8" long.
Condition:
Excellent condition given the age. Certainly is a museum-worthy piece. Was tested for functionality about 1 year ago. Please make sure it uses the correct type of spirit (alcohol) when pulling out the wick. Not sure if it comes with a tender or if its a standalone "tank" type of locomotive. Extremely rare piece for serious collectors.
