    Recommended Tools:
    > Hobby knife & blades
    > Tweezers
    > Adhesives
    > Paints and/or Inks
    Construction Tips:
    1. Read all instructions thoroughly before beginning assembly of any kit.
    2. Paint and / or ink all surfaces prior to removal of parts from their sheets.
    3. Allow paints and / or inks to dry completely.
    4. Follow instructions in numerical order. Some notes may be attached, where applicable.
    5. Remove only the parts required for that step.
    6. Apply glue using an applicator similar to a syringe. This will allow the smallest of amount of glue required for mating parts.
    7. Use squares, weights and squaring blocks in aligning wall, floor, roof, etc..
    8. Some kits may have lines etched into their roof surfaces, use them as guides for alignment of roof material.
    9. Use of chalks for weathering works very well. Give them a try, you will be amazed!
    Adhesives:
    1. Elmers white glue may be used for gluing wood, paper and other like materials. Though this glue works well, Elmers yellow (carpenters) glue is recommended, as this glue has a quicker tack (dry) time. Excellent results.
    Coloring:
    1. Solvent based paints work well. Needs ventilation. High odor. Interior surfaces need not be painted. Mineral spirits cleanup.
    2. Water (acrylic) based paints also work well. Less ventilation needed. Exterior and interior wall surfaces must be painted. Water cleanup.
    3. Ink markers are an excellent medium for coloring. Interior surfaces need not be colored. Very low or no odor. No cleanup.

Some DSR rating information to please keep in mind
What you rate and Tips for rating
How accurate was the item description?
    •         Review the item title and description to see if they match the item you received.
How satisfied were you with the seller's communication?
    •         Recall if the seller addressed any questions or concerns that you had, and did so in a professional manner.
    •         Consider only business days when evaluating the timeliness of the seller’s communication (sellers might not check email on weekends and holidays).
How quickly did the seller ship the item?
    •         Rate the seller on the time it took to mail the item, not the time it took you to receive the item.
    •         Don’t hold sellers responsible for delays in mail services, international custom delays, or for the time it takes for your payment to clear. If the item is for local pick-up you won't be able to specify this rating.
How reasonable were the shipping and handling charges?
    •         Remember that sellers may charge for the cost of the actual packaging materials, along with a reasonable handling fee to cover the seller’s time and direct costs associated with shipping.
    •         Keep in mind that for international transactions, buyers can be expected to pay duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees as required by country laws. If the seller provided free shipping, you won't be able to rate the shipping and handling charges, since free shipping automatically gives the seller a 5-star rating.
