    Description

Up for auction today is an amazing collectible from the late 1970s/early 1980s..
    The Donny & Marie Show
was an amazingly popular variety show on ABC from 1976-1979.
At the height of the show's popularity, Mattel produced a line of Donny and Marie Osmond action figures based on the bodies of their popular Ken and Barbie figures (new heads on the same bodies).
Donny Osmond stands nearly 12 inches tall.
He comes to you with a big smile and an awesome head of painted on hair.
He will be nude, with a great set of pecs, a perfect butt and a neutered front - hairless of course, in accordance with Mormon rules.
His left arm is bend for holding a microphone. His right arm is straight for waving hello or sieg heiling the Furher.
    The butt is stamped:

The Donny Osmond celebrity doll portrays him as himself and was made by Mattel in 1976. It was a part of a series with a Marie Osmond doll wearing matching outfits.
The series included a television show play set and a variety of TV fashion outfits sold separately.  In 1978 Mattel released a freckled faced Jimmy Osmond doll.
Donny Osmond sang originally as part of the Osmond Brothers band, went solo, became a teen idol, and in 1978  became known for being half of the brother-sister singing duet
    Donny & Marie
,  Donny and Marie Osmond had a four year variety series of their own on ABC.
