    Green ‘Slag Glass’ Drum Ink Bottle. Condition is "Used".
    I’m continuing sale of my ink collection, interrupted in 2018. Beginning with drum/cylinder inks, then on to house inks, english snap tops, miniatures, and eventually ink masters! The drum inks range in age from an early pontiled ink with fluid remaining to  this ink: a WWI ‘slag glass’ english ink. (Last photo shows the full drum collection.)
    This early ABM is english, and was produced during WWI when materials shortages required use of waste glass. 1918 at latest, so still ‘antique.’ They come in a variety of unusual colors, this one being a bright lime green, measuring just under 2” wide by 2½” high. Bottom embossed with big “D.” Lots of in-making crudity; displays beautifully.  No cracks, scratches or chips. (See photos). No reserve and low initial bid. Good luck!
