HTF FIRST RELEASE 1997 Pre Mattel Pleasant Company Josefina American Girl Doll

This hard to find FIRST RELEASE of American Girl Josefina has rarely, if ever, been played with.  Her neck is stamped @Pleasant Company, and she has all the great features of the pre-Mattel dolls.  Squeezable vinyl, soft long eyelashes, silky shiny hair, and great facial coloring.  Her limbs are tight, eyes function perfectly, hair is in ORIGINAL BRAID, and body truly looks like it is untouched.  I probably shouldn't have undressed her, because it became obvious her clothing had never been removed!  Josefina comes with her meet outfit - skirt, bloomers, camisa top - all are tagged Pleasant Company 1997.  Her belt is tagged PC, and moccasins have no sticker but are in perfect condition - and the laces looked intact as well, until I tried to retie them - then the laces started to shred (again, I shouldn't have undressed her!).  She also comes with her accessories - Rebozo shawl is tagged PC 1997; belt pouch and handkerchief have PC stickers.  This is a gorgeous Josefina!
