INK Bottle 1870s MAJOR BUBBLES 8 Sided. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class. If you are looking for a STUNNING ink, you may want to consider this one!! Some will date this to the Civil War Era but is more of a Post Civil War period in my opinion after digging and collecting for over 40 plus years, so you be the judge. This is truly remarkable with its many bubbles which does not do justice to this one as well as the burst-off top and an 8 sided piece. A nice ICY looking aqua with a circular indented heavy glass base for stability. A light iridescence as well which adds much appeal. Extremely clean and beautiful and stands 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches wide. As a personal opinion, I believe every educator should have an EXAMPLE to show their students what the old INKS use to look like from 150 years ago I hope you may enjoy adding this one to your collection as it is outstanding and has no cracks or chips etc.
