    Description

    This is a 5” pottery vase marked Jugtown Ware .
    I found that Jugtown Pottery, located near Seagrove, NC , was started around 1921 and is still in operation.
    I don’t know the age of this piece. Perhaps some “experts” out there would know.
    There is a little nick in top edge that you can see in one of the final photos. Measures 1/16”.
    Otherwise pot is in very good condition.
    As you can see the glaze is uneven with the red clay showing through. Nice effect.
