The title lady of Eisenbahnromantik - everyone knows her, everyone loves her - she was on the road with the Württembergische Tssd alias 99.63 series from 1899 to 1969. A service life that almost no other regional railway locomotive has achieved. The Württemberg Tssd was designed as a narrow-gauge steam locomotive for 750mm gauge with the Baurt Mallet. This design is a composite design, the high-pressure cylinders are attached to the rear frame, the low-pressure cylinders to the front frame. This is designed as an articulated frame because of the requirement of good archability.
The machine works Esslingen delivered a total of 9 machines with the track numbers 41 to 49 between 1899 and 1913 and was incorporated into the Deutsche Reichsbahn in the 1920s as the 99 631 to 99 639 series. The last two machines, the 99 633 and 99 637, ran on the Federseebahn between Schussenried and Riedlingen and the well-known Öchsle between Biberach and Ochsenhausen. The 99 633 was used after its retirement on the Jagsttalbahn Möckmühl - Dörzbach and on the Öchsle. There it stands today in the locomotive shed in Ochsenhausen and is waiting for its operational refurbishment. Look forward to a top-class premium model - the Württemberg TSSD. And this in lane 1e - the space-saving lane in the premier class. Completely new possibilities will be offered to them - from the extremely interesting roller-jack operation to operation with rail cars for transfer to the repair shop. We will do the 1e
