large vtg JB Cole Seagrove NC Pottery Double handle Squarish Bowl or Tray
The somewhat wonkey shape is a product of being hand thrown pottery. That swirl in the middle shows it was hand thrown on a potter's wheel.
Not signed but with the tell tale J
B Cole sander marks on the bottom.
Measures 12.5" long including the handles. 8.5" wide at the wide end and 7.25" at the smaller end. It is 2.5" high at the rim.
I bought this piece at an Asheboro NC estate sale on 6-19-2021that had about 200 pieces of Seagrove pottery, this was part of the collection.
This item has no chips or cracks and is exactly as made.
Net weight is 3.6 pounds so buyer pays shipping on 4.5 pounds, well packed.  Check shipping options. The further you live from North Carolina you live the more likely that because of the box size, that FedEx Ground will be less expensive. Or Free local pick up in Thomasville NC can be arranged.
