1961 Ludwig Von Drake Disney lunchbox and thermos. Both the lunchbox and thermos are in very good condition. Vibrant colors and great graphics. The name of the child who owned it, Jimmy Brackey, is written in faded black in the top left hand side of the lid. Some edge wear and light scratches as expected in a set this age but one of the better examples of this set you will find. Fun fact! Ludwig Von Drake was introduced as a Disney character in 1961, as part of the first show of Disney’s Wonderful World of Color. The lunchbox and thermos sets were produced and sold the same year. Although it is currently not on display, there is a Ludwig Von Drake Lunchbox and thermos set in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, donated to them by Aladdin Industries.
