German Federal Railroad (DB) class SVT 04 express multiple unit. Reichsbahn type SVT 137 "Hamburg". Two-part with Jakobs bogie. Version as FT 231 "Montan Express" from 1954.
With digital decoder mfx and extensive sound functions. Operation with alternating current, direct current, Märklin Digital and DCC. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a high-performance motor in the Jakobs bogie. 2 axles powered. Continuous side skirts with guided panels over the wheel cutouts. Link-guided vehicle connection with bellows between the vehicle halves. Lighting with maintenance-free light emitting diodes.
