Here's a crude early pontiled umbrella ink bottle that was dug from an 1850s outhouse privy pit....no embossing.....Open Pontil...crude rolled in lip.....aqua....8 sloping panels....2 1/4"tall....it has a big crack that runs across the bottom and up onto base on each side; no other damage. Actually displays pretty nice. A dug bottle with haze..
