*Up for sale here is a very rare embossed cone ink bottle from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This clear example is hand blown, and is beginning to turn a light purple shade from the sun. Bottle is in sparkling clean and in near mint condition, and looks like it was never buried. Has not been pro cleaned. Neat that the top is crooked. There is a very tiny shallow pin head flake off the side of the lip. This is extremely hard to see, and is non detracting.
*It is embossed on the bottle ~ "B. FIRMIN & SON'S / INK / PITTSBURGH". On the base there are some faint numbers. This attractive little cone ink bottle measures 2 3/8 inches tall, and 2 1/2 inches across the base. You will be quite pleased with this rare example from southwestern Pa.
