About THE GRANDS' ESTATE :
**After losing Gramps this last year (he was 96, we lost Grams 5 years ago at the age of 91) I've been tasked with helping to clean out their house. He was a self proclaimed pack rat, so I'll be adding more vintage/antique items in the days to come as we slowly make our way through all the boxes.
**My grandparents had countless ceramics molds and two kilns and they enjoyed producing their own kitschy items well into their retirements. Gramps also worked as an engineer building roads and bridges and designed and built their home along with the one I grew up in. He was a member of the Army AirCorps during WWII where he served as an aerial photographer. After his discharge he continued taking pictures of anything and everything and his camera collection is probably museum worthy. His obsession was so extreme that he even had his own dark room because he didn't trust anyone else to develop his pictures properly- at least until one hour photo labs became a thing. He proved just how obsessed he was with "capturing the moment" when my Grams fell and broke her hip. I was holding her hand and trying to keep her calm as they were loading her stretcher into the ambulance, when I hear my Gramps behind me, "Babe, you're blocking my shot. Could you move about 3 steps over to the left?" He's probably lucky Grams was strapped down. Some of his other interests included early McIntosh computers, gardening, woodworking, rock collecting, sewing, learning about quantum physics from DVD lectures, and he was also an avid stamp collector.
My Grams, on the other hand, would sit around drinking cold black coffee and smoking More cigarettes while she read the newspaper backwards and waited for one of the grandkids (and then eventually great grandkids) to come out for a visit. She LOVED Randy Travis and Charlie Sheen, but she absolutely hated Ellen. She cooked me a spaghetti dinner one time that consisted of noodles and Hunt's Ketchup- the bottle was placed on the table in case I wanted more sauce on mine. (I didn't) She let me know that she loved me more than anyone else in the world... until my son was born. But it was such a joy to share her with him and to share him with her that I didn't mind being runner up.
*Don't forget to check back often. I'll be adding new items daily for the foreseeable future!

International buyers: You will be responsible for all of the shipping and customs costs associated with your order. I only charge you whatever it costs me to send your item to the closest international shipment fulfillment center. The additional shipping charges you incur are charged by and paid directly to eBay. Please make sure the item purchased will be allowed through your country's customs, as I will not refund items shipped internationally once they leave my possession. When items are rejected by customs, I don't get them back. If I know in advance that your purchase can't be shipped, I will cancel the order before shipping and make sure you're refunded.
Everyone Else:
My Return Policy:
Returns are accepted within 30 days of the original purchase date.
If there's a problem with the item or if you're unsatisfied in any way, please contact me immediately so I can make it right. I want you to be happy with your purchase.
BUYER'S REMORSE
That being said, I understand when you end up with something that isn't what you thought you ordered for any number of reasons. I try to include plenty of clear photos in the listing as a way to prevent this, but sometimes something might be overlooked or an item is ordered by mistake. If this happens to you, the sooner you let me know, the better off we'll both be. If the item hasn't shipped yet, I will immediately issue you a refund and relist the item. If you've already received the item or it's already en route, contact me, and we'll get it figured out. Usually you can refuse to accept an item and it will get sent back. Since I don't carry a back stock of identical items anyway, I will typically offer to exchange the item with an item of similar value from my store, that I will ship out at no additional charge, as soon as I've received your return. If you decide to return an item already received for a refund instead, I do ask that you purchase your own return shipping label and once I've received the item back, in it's original condition, I will issue you a refund for the original purchase price. If the item was purchased with free shipping, you'll be refunded the original amount minus my cost to ship.
*I reserve the right to charge a restocking fee on certain returned items- not to exceed 20% of the cost of the item. I typically do NOT charge a restocking fee, but I find that it's necessary to include this disclaimer in order to protect myself from scammers.
ITEMS NOT AS DESCRIBED
If you find damage that I missed, contact me and I'll make it right. I'm trying to make my way through 2 storages and a house and attic full of items, so I'm bound to miss things. I'm only human. If this happens, I usually offer a refund/replacement and won't require you to return the item.
DAMAGED DURING SHIPMENT
If an item is damaged during transport, please keep it in the original box and with the original packing materials. (As per USPS requirements for filing an insurance claim.) Please include photos of the damage when you notify me so I can issue you a return label immediately. Once I've received the returned item, I will issue you a refund for the total original purchase price (including shipping.)
(lots of words- sorry!)
