STUNNING MARBLE DOOR SURROUND - 17th Century Italian Design - Hand Carved Stone

Description

This grand marble door surround is designed in a 17th century Italian style. It is hand carved by master craftsmen from a deep green marble with beautiful light veining throughout, with a semi-polished finish. The carving at the top of this piece features beautiful scroll work and floral detailing with Acanthus leaves. This is a single door surround, which is created to be installed around a door frame. This would be ideal for a wine cellar entry, or main entry into a stately home. This material can be used indoors or outdoors.
We also have this door surround with the same design in a thicker version. Additionally, we have columns and pillars made of the same marble, which could be utilized in conjunction with the door surround to complete a cohesive look.
The opening size can be reduced with the addition of stone trim (matching the door surround). Also, the 82" height can be reduced to fit if necessary, by cutting the bottom of the door surround legs. The finish can also be tailored to your taste - if a honed finish is preferred, light sand paper can be used for an aged, weathered appearance.
