VINTAGE 1968-1969 PIT STOP STOCK CAR RACING METAL OHIO ART LUNCH BOX

Offered here is a vintage tin or steel lunch box, made in 1968 and / or 1969. The front and back have the same graphics of a pit stop crew, working at a stock car race. I believe that this kit was originally issued with a "generic" thermos bottle - but NO THERMOS IS INCLUDED. I would call the condition GOOD or about a 7 on a scale of 10. (Grading can be subjective, please read the description, see the pictures and make your own grade.) The biggest flaw is some paint wear and rust around one end of the handle. The HANDLE IS NOT ORIGINAL TO THIS BOX. It is the correct color (orange) and style (ribbed), but this came from an Aladdin box made around the same time period. I think the original handle was hard plastic, and THIS handle is a softer plastic. The paint on the bottom band is discolored in one area. It looks like this rested next to something textured like a football, and it became discolored. The GOOD news, is that the front and back graphics are pretty nice, with some rim wear on both sides. Inside is very clean. The kit displays very nicely, and is is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
